It all started with one little chinnie. . .
Hi! We are the Maul's-Steve, Tracey, Josh, and TJ. Five years ago Tracey was working at a school with a pet chinchilla named Raisin. She volunteered to keep him over Christmas break, and the rest, as they say, is history! He was such a delightful companion, we had to get some chins of our own. Somehow, once you get started, it's hard to stop! Our first two grew into four, then Raisin came home to stay, and now here we are, raisin' chins!
We have all become dedicated slaves to our chinnies, and fortunatly they let us share the house with them. We rotate time out of the cages to play, and enjoy interacting with them all. Babies are handled from birth to insure that you adopt a social animal.
We feed a diet of Mazuri and Oxbow pellets, timothy hay from Oxbow, Manna Pro Apple Wafers, and plenty of fresh water. The chins enjoy a daily treat of one Kellogg Mini Wheats with Raisins each.
We live in Lincoln, Nebraska and at this time we DO NOT SHIP. We are willing to make arrangements to drive up to 3-4 hours to meet someone for a gas fee.
